Dann Glenn

Dann Glenn is a world renowned jazz fusion guitarist/composer, with more than twenty solo albums to his credit, not to mention a catalog of six published symphonies.

Dann’s current band is the “Eleven Eleven Orchestra,” with jazz bass legend, Jeff Berlin. Though he makes his home in St. Louis, Dann spends the brunt of his time touring the world. When Mr. Glenn found out about Play It Forward, he was so moved, he donated one of his brand new guitars to the program. Dann had this to say about PIF:

When I met Samantha Fisher at a function for a motion picture I am in named “Johnnie Be Good The Movie”, I was inspired to say the least. Samantha’s commitment to this project is unwavering, and she, and a dedicated staff, are doing an amazing and truly wonderful thing.

Sure, this is for the kids; but this project serves our community and ultimately the world, because a child given the gift of music early-on in their life… is a child that will develop into a much happier, not to mention more productive human being.

I told Samantha that I would be honored to perform for, and interact with the kids whenever I am home. Music is an incredibly powerful force in our lives, and a child that has this experience is empowered for the rest of their lives.
